Dandelion
INTRODUCTION:
'Dandelion' the dispersing seeds of this beautiful plant resembles 'stars'. The name Dandelion comes from the French word dent-de-lion which means lion's teeth because of it's jagged-edged leaves. Botanical name "Taraxacum officinale".It is a flowering plant in the family Asteraceae. In a world of perfectly manicured lawns and carefully curated gardens, the dandelion often finds itself labeled as a weed.
RESILIENCE OF A 'WISH FLOWER':
Dandelion is also called as 'wish flower', because it is said that if someone can blow all of it's seeds at once then their wish might come true.Some believe in this and some don't. Though this definitely helps in the germination of this plant as each time someone wish upon a dandelion they are sending number of it's seeds into the air, and they travel far across land and thrive there. Thriving in a variety of environments, they adapt to diverse conditions and often make otherwise barren spaces come to life. This adaptability reminds us of the importance of embracing change and finding strength in difficult circumstances.
