Mustard Greens



INTRODUCTION:

This big green leafy plant over here is known as Mustard Greens. Botanical name "Brassica juncea", they are believed to be originated in the Himalayan region of India. From there, they spread to various parts of Asia, Europe, and North America. They are the part of Brassicaceae family (brassica family)  also known as cruciferous vegetables. They are also called 'Sarso' in Hindi, and other common names are 'Indian mustard', 'Chinese mustard' and 'Vegetable mustard'.

FEATURES:

This verdant leafy vegetable, have long been a staple in cuisines across the globe and they come in various shapes and shades, ranging from frilly and deep green to red-tinged and smooth.
